Ministry Center
We purchased our Ministry Center in 2003. Previously It was a personal residence and a window and door manufacturing business. So far we have converted the work area into our classroom and some offices. In the main house we have partially remodeled to create more housing for students. In order to more effectively train, equip and send missionaries into all the world we must tackle some major renovation projects at our ministry center. Many of our rooms are unfinished and our class room does not have heating so we are unable to use it in the winter.
When all renovations are complete, our capacity will be:
Housing for 40 Cafeteria for 40 Office space for 35 Classroom for 70 Guest housing
Annually, we will be able to:Train 50 students Host 20 SoS teams Host local seminars & conferences
The Birth of the Vision for Our Ministry Center:
The Date - August 1998
The Vision - Establish Roots
God calls the Arise Romania! project to own a ministry center and establish roots in the nation.
The Scripture - Isaiah 54:2, "Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes."
The Process - Faith & Perserverance
Four and a half years of praying, searching, fasting, fundraising, praying, searching, fasting and more praying. November 2002 - suitable property found.
The Fulfillment - March 11th, 2003 1st payment of $70,000 made, papers signed over to YWAM Cluj-Napoca, staff and students celebrate the fulfillment of the vision!
All of the payments have been made and we now posses our promised land!! God has a dream for the Romanian people. He wants them to be transformed into the image of Christ. This ministry center will greatly enhance our efforts to see Romanians and other nations transformed!

Some Current Building Projects
Convert the attic into staff housing. COMPLETED
In August 2008, 2 Teams came and helped us convert our attic. 1 team from Pennsylvania and another from Michigan. We are very grateful to those teams. The attic is now a beautiful 2 room apartment where our base directors live with there 2 little girls. Thank you very much to the teams, you are a huge blessing.
Finishing our dining room: ALMOST COMPLETE
What we need: Tile, Paint, Tables and benches, installation/Workers.
Finishing our kitchen:
What we need: Cement, Tile, Stove, Oven, ventilation, Counter tops, Cabinets, Paint, installation/Workers.
Pave the driveway:
What we need: Driveway needs to be leveled, prepared, and asphalt put on, installation/Workers.
Build a fence:
What we need: Cement foundation, Wood, Metal, Gate, installation/Workers.
Tile in the house: ALMOST COMPLETE
What we need: Tile for entry, hall and stairs, installation/Workers.
Heating for our classroom: COMPLETED
In the fall of 2010, we officially have heating in the classroom, making the classroom useable during the winter as well. Praise the Lord!
We continue to hold schools even though our training center is not finished. We are starting and finishing many different projects all the time. Sometimes we have teams that come from different places around the world to work on a specific project. Some finish the project and some help us get closer to completion. If you are interested in helping us with our ministry center project please let us know!
